Common Questions

Bells are not sounding

• Make sure notifications are enabled for Ship Bell Sounds
• Check that your iPhone is not in Silent mode or a Focus mode
• If you use an Apple Watch, notifications may appear on your watch instead of your iPhone

How do I start the bells?

• Open the app and tap “Start Bells”
• Select your preferred Bell Mode in Settings if needed

What Bell Modes are available?

• Traditional Ship Bells — the classic nautical 8-bell watch cycle
• Hourly Chime — a single bell at the top of each hour

Quiet Hours not working

• Check your Quiet Hours settings inside the app
• Restart the bell schedule after changing Quiet Hours settings if needed
